Small-town Singer/songwriter, Leigh Ann Marez, has been at it for a while.  She has been writing, composing, singing and performing all her life.  Most of these venues have been for local entertainment and music festivals, as well as service settings such as weddings and memorial services.   Though working on, and performing cover songs is enjoyable,  her real love is SONG WRITING and LYRIC composition.  "It offers a certain fulfillment  that nothing else can compare to, along with an avenue for personal expression and opinion",  Leigh Ann explains.

Leigh Ann is PROUD of her traditional family values that are associated with production AGRICULTURE (ranching/farming) and small-town, USA.  She is a mother of three and has been married to her college sweetheart for 30 years!

Music collaboration with co-writer, Gary Persons, began over 15 years ago when the two teamed up to record some of Leigh Ann's music in Gary's back yard studio.  The partnership has resulted in FOUR, 12-16 song cd's (completely original works). Their music encompasses a combination of sounds including country, blues, gospel, folk and soft rock.  The songs range from very traditional sounds to modern and alternative sounds.  All of the music is composed and recorded by Leigh Ann and Gary, in that backyard studio setting.  This includes lyrics, lead vocals, harmonies, rhythm guitar, lead guitar, bass, mandolin and fiddle. Any drum tracks come from pre-recorded formats and that is why the drums are used minimally.  In fact, their entire sound is developed around vocals and harmonies with a minimalist style related to instruments, as their motto has been:  'Many times, LESS is actually MORE...'
